toqn tracks usage stats — never your code or conversations.
This is the shape of a real payload — numbers and labels, never content.

}When you use toqn, we collect LLM usage metrics sent by the hook running on your machine: token counts, model names, calculated costs, tool usage counts, file extension statistics, lines changed, bash command categories, git activity counts, subagent and skill names, session IDs, turn counts, and hook version. We also store your GitHub profile information (username, display name, email, avatar, location, website) used for authentication.
We never collect, transmit, or store your source code, prompts, conversations, command outputs, file paths, file names, or commit messages. The hook extracts only numeric metrics and category labels from your sessions.
Your usage data is used solely to display dashboards, charts, and reports within toqn.dev. We do not sell, share, or provide your data to third parties for advertising or profiling purposes.
You control how long your data is retained via Settings. Options range from 30 days to indefinite. When you reduce your retention period, data older than the new threshold is permanently deleted within 24 hours.
You can export all your data at any time (JSON or CSV). You can delete your account, which triggers a 7-day grace period followed by permanent deletion of all associated data. Your profile is private by default — only you can view your usage unless you explicitly make it public.
